>lessons from cyndi lauper…

>when i was 9 years old, i was mad for cyndi lauper. i wanted to be more like her when i grew up than like madonna (whom everyone else wanted to be like).

this is the cyndi lauper i grew up with.

fast forward to this morning and i’m treated to this on blisschick’s site.

methinks there’s a lesson to be learned here….

  1. >You know, I met her once. We interviewed her for a TV show I used to work on. She was super nice. She really went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable, and that we had all the footage and material we needed to do the show. She was always asking how she could help, or if she needed to do anything differently. I halfway expected her to bake cookies after the show, but she didn't 🙂
